(Alliance News) - Luxury fashion retailer Ted Baker PLC said Monday it has appointed David Wolffe as chief financial officer on a permanent basis with immediate effect.
Wolffe first joined Ted Baker as interim chief financial officer in January. He will be replacing Rachel Osborne, who moved up from CFO to become chief executive officer.
Wolffe is the founder and chief executive officer of backpack maker Wolffepack, and prior to becoming Ted Baker's interim CFO, he was in the same role at sports data business Genius Sports from June 2019 to December 2019.
"We are delighted to welcome David on board on a permanent basis, following a thorough process, in addition to the capability we have seen him display in recent months. I have thoroughly enjoyed working closely alongside him since the start of the year, and David has quickly gripped the issues inside the business and developed solutions to put things right," Osborne said.
"I look forward to his continued significant contribution to the leadership team, as we work together to return Ted Baker to profitable growth," she added.
Shares in Ted Baker were up 9.4% at 129.98 pence on Monday in London.
