(Alliance News) - Technology Minerals PLC on Monday said its 48% owned battery recycling business, Recyclus Group Ltd, has been selected by the University of Warwick's WMG group, for the supply of a bespoke lithium-ion battery shredder.

The London-based battery metals mining and recycling firm said Recyclus will design, manufacture, supply, install, commission, and train operators for the use of an industrial grade battery shredder.
The shredder will be based on Recyclus' battery recycling plant at Wolverhampton and will "enable WMG to shred cells and modules in a safe manner to further advance its research in battery recycling technologies and black mass."
The equipment is scheduled to be delivered and commissioned by March 31, 2024.
WMG is an academic department at the University of Warwick for research in applied science, technology and engineering.
