LONDON (Alliance News) - Video games company Team17 Group PLC said on Wednesday it will launch its new video game Overcooked 2 on August 7.
Overcooked is a co-operative cooking game in which players serve a variety of recipes in different kitchens, including hot air balloons and another planet. Players can either play solo or work with up to three friends.
The game has been co-developed with independent developer Ghost Town Games and will be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
"We are thrilled to be extending our relationship with Ghost Town Games with Overcooked 2, further building on the multi-award winning franchise. Alongside our launch partners, we are delighted with the game and believe it represents a great example of our ability to collaborate with our partners, and generate exceptional gaming content, both for new games and sequels," said Chief Executive Officer Debbie Bestwick.
Shares in Team17 were up 8.6% at 252.50 pence on Wednesday.
