LONDON (Alliance News) - British housebuilder Taylor Wimpey PLC said Thursday that Mike Hussey has decided to step down as independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
Hussey has served the board and the nomination committee since his appointment in July 2011 and the audit committee since February 2013. Chairman Kevin Beeston said Hussey was stepping down "to focus on his own substantial private company interests and his growing commitments in the charity sector".
Shares in Taylor Wimpey were down 0.1% at 176.50 pence each Thursday morning.
