LONDON (Alliance News) - Business-to-business media company Tarsus Group PLC Friday said it has struck a deal to acquire the PAINWeek event in the US and said trading in the year so far has been in line with its expectations.
Tarsus has acquired PAINWeek, which runs a pain management conference which takes place in Las Vegas in September, from Aventine Co for up to USD27.5 million in cash, with USD5 million payable on completion and the remainder due based on the performance of the business through to 2018.
The company also said trading in the year to date has been in line with its expectations, with forward bookings tracking around 10% ahead year-on-year on a like-for-like basis.
Shares in Tarsus were up 1.6% to 225.00 pence on Friday morning.
