Target Healthcare REIT Buys Two More Care Homes, Now Has 18

LONDON (Alliance News) - Target Healthcare REIT Ltd Wednesday said it has bought two purpose-built care homes in the Midlands region of England for about GBP14.3 million, increasing its investment portfolio to 18 homes.

In a statement, the company said it has now invested more than GBP91 million of the GBP95.7 million it has raised since it listed in March last year.

"We continue to grow the company's investment pipeline with both single and multi-asset acquisitions across regional and national operators. With approximately GBP50 million of deals in advanced, non-binding legal negotiations we expect to announce further acquisitions in the near-term," Kenneth MacKenzie, managing partner of Target Advisers LLP said in a statement.

Target Healthcare REIT shares last traded at 104.5 pence.
