LONDON (Alliance News) - Taptica International Ltd said Friday it had successfully managed to combine its own services with those of RhythymOne PLC shortly after having finalised the merger of the two firms.
In early April, video advertising firms Taptica and RhythymOne combined after a GBP135 million takeover. Since then, Taptica has combined the advertising units of both firms to launch Private Marketplace Packages.
Taptica will now be able to provide advertisers through extended packages known as Tremor Video PMPs
"Combining RhythmOne's and Taptica's video advertising capabilities was a key element of the rationale underpinning the merger of the two businesses and the launch of Tremor Video PMPs will allow advertisers to show their videos in some of the most highly sought-after environments in the digital space," Taptica Chief Executive Officer Ofer Druker said.
"We look forward to beginning to capitalise on the synergies generated by the merger with the launch of Tremor Video PMPs serving as an excellent example of the opportunities that we expect to deliver in the near-term", Druker added.
Shortly after completing the merger, Taptica proposed changing its name to Tremor International Ltd. A vote on this proposed move will be in front of shareholders on June 13.
Shares in Taptica were 2.8% higher at 142.90 pence on Friday.
