SyQic Re-launches Korean Content Streaming Service In Indonesia

3rd Nov 2014 11:33

LONDON (Alliance News) - SyQic PLC said Monday that it has re-launched the Korean content streaming service Maaduu, which it acquired in August, in Indonesia.

The service has already been re-launched in Malaysia. It plans to roll out the re-launch into several other Southeast Asian countries during 2015.

SyQic said it is confident that the enhanced Maaduu offering will appeal "significantly" to its existing customer base, and is also likely to attract new users in Indonesia. It noted that recent easing of industry regulation in Indonesia in the middle of 2013 has also given greater access to target audiences.

Shares in SyQic are trading down 4.0% at 53.30 pence Monday morning.
