(Alliance News) - Synthomer PLC on Thursday said it has appointed Cynthia Dubin, former chief financial officer of JKX Oil & Gas PLC, as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Dubin has served in senior finance and business roles in the power, oil, gas and clean energy technology sector. Dubin is a non-executive director of the Competition & d Market Authority where she currently acts as chair of the audit and risk assurance committee.
Dubin will also become a member of Synthomer's audit committee.
Chair Neil Johnson said: "I am delighted to welcome Cynthia to Synthomer's board. She brings a wealth of global business and financial experience that will be invaluable as we continue to develop the group and strengthen our platform for future growth.
"I also note that, with this appointment, Synthomer will have a board composed of one third female representation which meets the Davies' Report recommendation."
Shares in the Essex, England-based aqueous polymer supplier were down 0.4% at 298.60 pence each on Thursday morning.
