(Alliance News) - Synectics PLC on Thursday hailed two new contract wins as it said it expects to deliver growth of at least 20% in revenue and pretax profit for the financial year.
The Sheffield, England-based provider of advanced security and surveillance systems expects to report revenue of GBP67 million in the financial year to November, up 20% from GBP55.8 million the year prior, and pretax profit of not less than GBP5.7 million, up 21% from GBP4.7 million.
"Progress has been positive in the year to date, securing extensions and repeat orders with both new and existing long-term customers across a variety of sectors and geographies, in addition to successfully delivering a significant, non-recurring gaming contract in South-East Asia in the period." the firm said in a statement.
Shares were up 1.5% at 286.75 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
Synectics said it continues to build a "solid" order book and has "good visibility" on its new business pipeline for financial 2026, supported by ongoing customer demand in growing markets.
Reflecting this, the firm announced two new contract wins.
The first, worth GBP1.2 million, is for the supply of advanced surveillance solutions to a carbon capture, transport and storage project.
In addition, Synectics has been awarded a contract to supply its Coex camera range for an offshore wind project in the Dutch and German sectors of the North Sea.
"We are delighted to have secured these initial contracts in the renewables and decarbonisation markets, marking important progress in delivering on our strategy to expand into the broader energy sector," said Chief Executive Amanda Larnder.
