(Alliance News) - Synectics PLC on Monday said that it has been given another contract relating to the upgrade and expansion of a surveillance system at a major gaming resort in Southeast Asia.
Synectics is a Sheffield, England-based security and surveillance systems.
The contract, worth USD3.2 million, is in addition to a USD10 million deal announced on June 18.
Though the customer was unnamed, Synectics did say that they have been using Synergy - its proprietary software platform - since 2014. These new contracts will expand and upgrade the customer's existing system to the latest version of Synergy.
The contract is expected to be delivered in the financial year ending November 30, 2025.
"The award of these contracts is a testament to the expertise of the Synectics team and our industry-leading software. We have been working with this customer for many years and we are delighted that they have committed to this upgrade and expansion programme with us," said Amanda Larnder, interim CEO and CFO.
Shares in Synectics were trading 6.7% higher at 198.50 pence each in London on Monday afternoon.
