(Alliance News) - Investment company Symphony International Holdings Ltd on Thursday said it has invested an undisclosed sum in Indian eye-healthcare provider ASG Hospital Private Ltd.
The company made the investment via a subsidiary and will hold a significant minority interest in ASG Hospital at a cost of less than 5% of net asset value.
ASG Hospital operates 33 clinics, which offer a full range of eye-healthcare services. It also operates an optical and pharmacy business, which is located within clinics.
Symphony is investing alongside Foundation Holdings, a global investment firm focused on building sustainable, industry defining companies.
London-listed shares in Symphony International were untraded USD0.61 per share on Thursday afternoon.
