Symphony International Grows NAV In First-Half

LONDON (Alliance News) - Symphony International Holdings Ltd Tuesday said its net asset value per share rose over the six months to June 30.

The company invests in hospitality, healthcare and lifestyle businesses and develops branded real estate in Asia.

The investment company said its net asset value on June 30 was USD1.3131 per share, compared with USD1.3105 per share on June 30, 2013.

The company said its NAV per share was up almost 12% on the NAV per share of USD1.1759 at December 31, 2013.

Symphony' said its portfolio continued to perform well in the second quarter, with its property related investments performing to expectations.

During the first-half, the company made two new investments.

"We see a strong outlook for Asia and continue to evaluate a number of opportunities to expand our portfolio further, and we hope to close further investments in the coming year," it said.

The company's stock was flat Tuesday mid-morning, trading at USD0.790 per share.
