LONDON (Alliance News) - Sutton Harbour Holdings PLC Monday said it has leased out the 6,909 square foot Jamaica House premises in Plymouth to Boston Tea Party after securing planning approval from the Local Planning Authority.
The company said the fit-out of the historic building is now under-way, with an expected opening date scheduled for June 2015, adding the Boston Tea Party as a new outlet. The Boston Tea Party chain already has 15 established operations in the South West of England and in the Midlands.
Planning consent has also been granted to a third party for the redevelopment of the Bretonside bus station. Sutton Harbour Holdings said the new station will improve transportation links in the area, further promoting the area as a "major gateway" to Plymouth's "world-class waterfront". Sutton Harbour is not involved in the development of the station, but is expecting to benefit from its rejuvenation.
Sutton Harbour shares were trading flat on Monday afternoon at 32.00 pence per share.
