(Alliance News) - Sure Ventures PLC and Pires Investments PLC on Thursday noted a vehicle safety technology investee raised EUR3.9 million to finance growth plans.
The duo have stakes in Mysafedrive Ltd, trading as Cameramatics, through their holding in Sure Valley Ventures. Sure Ventures has a 26% stake in Sure Valley and Pires a 20% stake.
CameraMatics raised EUR3.9 million in funding from existing investors Sure Valley Ventures, Puma and Enterprise Ireland. It has achieved a 90% valuation increase since January, the two investors noted.
"The proceeds of the funding round will be used to expand CameraMatics' sales and marketing teams, help fund its global expansion and scale in line with the strong levels of growth that the company is experiencing," Sure Ventures and Pires Investments said.
Sure Ventures shares were 1.6% lower at 95.00 pence each in London on Thursday morning. Pires Investments was trading 6.3% higher at 7.60p.
