LONDON (Alliance News) - Superglass Holdings PLC Friday said it has appointed Ken Munro, the managing director of its main trading subsidiary, as its new chief executive.
The company said it had been considering both internal and external candidates but found that Monro was the best candidate for the job.
Munro's appointment was supported by principal shareholder Peter Gyllenhammar AB, the company said, which owns about 38% of the company through Bronsstädet AB.
Superglass is still on the lookout for a new chairman, with John Colley set to step down on Friday next week. Senior Independent Director Mark Cubitt will act in the role until a permanent successor is found.
Superglass shares were untraded on Friday. The stock last traded at 3.51 pence.
