LONDON (Alliance News) - Sunrise Resources PLC shares were trading higher on Monday morning after it said the US Bureau of Land Management has given the company the required consent to start drilling at the Bay State Silver Project in Nevada.
The programme approved will comprise access track upgrading and the construction of up to 16 drill pads at the site.
"We are delighted to be fast-tracking the drill programme at Bay State and look forward to the first results. We believe that the permit now in place will cover sufficient phased drilling to meet our next objective which is to define a JORC compliant Mineral Resource Estimate," said Executive Chairman Patrick Cheetham.
Sunrise shares were up 26% on the news to 0.2845 pence, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
