LONDON (Alliance News) - Sunrise Resources PLC on Tuesday said it raised GBP400,000 through a share placing to continue its CS pozzolan-perlite project development in Nevada, US.
The miner said it placed 285.7 million shares at a price of 0.14 pence each. The stock was trading 8.6% lower on Tuesday at 0.16p per share.
Sunrise Resources said it intends to use funds to continue the mine planning and permitting process at CS project and to continue customer trials.
"We are pleased to welcome new shareholders to our register which share the board's vision for the company and we look forward to reporting on future progress as we advance the CS project towards production and build our customer base," said Executive Chairman Patrick Cheetham.
The company also said that it appointed SVS Securities PLC as a joint broker to arrange the placing. Following the admission, Sunrise Resources will have 2.43 billion shares overall.
