LONDON (Alliance News) - Sunrise Resources PLC on Monday said its pretax loss in the first half was broadly unchanged from a year before, and it will continue to seek potential partnering projects.
Sunrise said its pretax loss for the six months to March 31 was GBP149,534, broadly flat on the GBP151,540 loss made a year earlier. The company does not generate any revenue.
Over the course of the half, Sunrise signed a lease agreement on the County Diatomite project in Nevada and secured strong silver grades from underground sampling work on the Bay State silver project, also in Nevada.
Sunrise said it hopes to replicate the partnering strategy used at County Diatomite on other industrial minerals projects in the US, including at the Pozz Ash project, also in Nevada.
Shares in Sunrise were untraded on Monday, having last traded at 0.13 pence.
