Sunrise Resources Expects CS Project To Start Production In 2021

27th Oct 2020 10:44

(Alliance News) - Shares in Sunrise Resources PLC rose on Tuesday after the company reported continued progress on its projects in the US and Australia.

Shares in the miner were up 10% early Tuesday in London and are now trading 2.0% higher at 0.25 pence each.

At the CS Pozzolan-Perlite project in Nevada, Sunrise has assembled a commercial-scale plant for trial processing, with an 100-tonne bulk sample of perlite to be processed by the end of the week.

Sunrise is aiming for first commercial production at CS Pozzolan-Perlite project in spring next year.

At the Clayton silver-gold project in Nevada, drilling is due to start on or around Thursday, and will follow up on historic exploration where several holes did not end in mineralisation or reach the target depth.

Sunrise has submitted a notice of intent to drill the Newark gold project in Nevada to the Bureau of Land Management, and is also separately planning to drill Baker's gold project in Western Australia.

"This is an exciting time for Sunrise with regular news updates expected over the coming months from both our CS Project and our gold and silver assets. We are fully funded for the planned work programmes and for the foreseeable future and I look forward to updating shareholders in due course," said Executive Chair Patrick Cheetham.
