LONDON (Alliance News) - Sunrise Resources PLC on Thursday said work is ongoing at its projects in Nevada and said it will create a new subsidiary to pursue more gold projects in the western US state.
Sunrise said surface and underground sampling work is continuing at the Bay State silver project, while trenching and soil sampling will be undertaken on the Garfield and Junction gold-copper projects, all of which are in Nevada. Sampling and testwork also is planned for the Pozz Ash project, Sunrise said.
The company said it will create a new subsidiary to pursue potential gold and silver project stakes in Nevada in order to take advantage of low valuations caused by depressed conditions in commodities markets.
Sunrise also said it is planning fieldwork at the Cue Diamond project in Australia.
Sunrise shares were untraded in London on Thursday, having last traded at 0.12 pence.
