LONDON (Alliance News) - Styles&Wood Group PLC Wednesday said it has won a contract to carry out a GBP8.6 million refurbishment of the library at Lancaster University.
The property services company said the renovation project, which is due to be completed in January 2016, will involve a complete strip out and refurbishment of the library's east and west wings on a phased basis.
"This is a significant win for Styles&Wood in a key growth sector for a number of the Group's service lines, including design, energy and project delivery," said Styles&Wood Chief Executive Officer Tony Lenehan.
Lenehan said the group has secured a total of GBP14.6 million in revenue from the education sector this year, including the GBP4.1 million refurbishment of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Styles&Wood shares were untraded on Wednesday, quoted at 82 pence.
