StratMin Production Up In January With Sales Growing In February

9th Feb 2015 10:19

LONDON (Alliance News) - StratMin Global Resources PLC on Monday said its production rose in January and said sales have increased in February.

Stratmin said it produced 302 tonnes of wet graphite in January. It said the volume was higher than last year, though it did not provide comparative figures nor report its monthly production last year.

The group said it sold 44 tonnes of graphite in the month, but said it sales to date in February have increased to around 150 tonnes.

"Volume increases have continued thereby proving a steadily improving production story at the plant. Grades remaining similar to December were to be expected as the new milling and screening capacity were not operational during the period, and instead will be operational during February whereupon we would expect to see further improvement in grades," said StratMin Managing Director Manoli Yannaghas.

StratMin shares were up 2.5% to 5.1225 pence on Monday morning.
