LONDON (Alliance News) - StratMin Global Resources PLC Tuesday said its Lohorano plant produced 107 tonnes of flake graphite in April, exceeding management expectations which was set at 100 tonnes.
The Madagascar-focused graphite exploration and production company said head grade carbon content also exceeded expectations and was up 9%. The Lohorano plant started commercial production on April 9.
"I am pleased to report the Company has exceeded production expectations for April, which is a fantastic achievement from the operational team in Madagascar," Managing Director Manoli Yannaghas said in a statement, "It is clear that the plant is capable of producing commercial grade and large flake graphite."
The stock was trading at 8.22 pence Tuesday morning, down 0.23 pence or 2.7%.
