LONDON (Alliance News) - Graphite production and exploration company StratMin Global Resources PLC on Monday said it has made progress on its exploration programmes at the Loharano and Mahefadok projects in Madagascar.
The company said the topographical mapping survey for the projects has been completed and significant new anomalous zones have been identified.
StratMin intends, alongside joint venture partner Bass Metals Ltd, to accelerate the development of the flake graphite concentration plant at adjacent to the prospect area.
"The first phase of the exploration program has delivered excellent results and we are very excited with the potential for additional mineralisation not previously detected," said Brett Boynton, StratMin's chief executive.
Shares in StratMin were up 10% to 4.00 pence on Monday.
