LONDON (Alliance News) - Strategic Minerals PLC on Friday said the maiden drilling programme planning for the Hanns Camp nickel project in Western Australia has been completed.
The company said the Permit of Work for the project has also been granted by the Western Australia Department of Mines & Petroleum, paving the way for drilling to start in mid to late May.
The drilling programme will consist of three drill holes, with the third dependent on the success of the first two.
"The granting of the Permit of Work by the West Australian government has allowed our team to negotiate and finalise the drilling program, culminating in the signing of a drilling contract," said John Peters, Strategic Minerals' managing director.
Strategic Minerals shares were up 1.4% to 0.36 pence.
