(Alliance News) - Strategic Minerals PLC on Monday announced "standout" drilling results from wholly owned subsidiary Cornwall Resources Ltd at its Redmoor tungsten-tin-copper project in Cornwall, England.
Laboratory results for the first borehole of the 2025 drilling programme confirmed multiple zones of high-grade tungsten mineralisation throughout the full 90-metre thickness of the Redmoor Sheeted Vein System deposit.
Highlights include 3.05 metres at 1.43% tungsten trioxide and 0.54% copper from 439.70 metres, including 1.30 metres at 2.34% tungsten trioxide and 0.44% copper from 439.70 metres, as well as 0.75 metres at 1.54% tungsten trioxide and 0.68% copper from 442.00 metres.
Managing Director of CRL Dennis Rowland said: "These initial results demonstrate high tungsten grades and support Redmoor's position as one of the highest-grade deposits globally, when compared to other CRIRSCO (Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards) resources."
Executive Chairman of Strategic Minerals Charles Manners added: "With tungsten prices rising significantly this year, and a global push to secure access to critical and strategic minerals, Redmoor is well placed as a world leading asset."
Share prices in Strategic Minerals rose 74% on Monday in London, closing at 0.83 pence.
