LONDON (Alliance News) - Strategic Minerals PLC on Wednesday said it has intersected further nickel sulphides during drilling work on the Hanns Camp project in Australia.
Two of the three targets at the project have shown nickel sulphide mineralisation so far, Strategic Minerals said, "greatly" improving the prospective nature of the project.
Last week, the company had reported nickel sulphide mineralisation in the first hole drilled at the project.
"This second indication of the existence of nickel sulphide has significantly increased the prospectivity of the tenement for nickel," said Alan Broome, chairman of Strategic Minerals.
Strategic Minerals shares were down 2.0% to 0.42 pence.
