LONDON (Alliance News) - Strategic Equity Capital PLC Thursday said it delivered a 38.6% increase in its net asset value per share over the 12 months to June 30.
The investment trust said its NAV per share performance outperformed its benchmark, the FTSE Smaller Companies ex Investment Companies Index, by 13.3% over the same period.
Its said its portfolio companies continue to display attractive valuations and strong operational momentum.
"A strong year for both absolute and relative performance which reflects the Investment Manager's high conviction, concentrated portfolio approach," said Chairman John Hodson in a statement.
The company also said that Hodson has now stepped down as chairman, with Richard Hills taking his place.
Strategic Equity Capital shares were trading 0.3% higher Thursday afternoon, at 157.55 pence per share.
