Strat Aero Signs Two Deals To Enter Chinese And Asian Drone Markets

28th Jan 2016 10:10

LONDON (Alliance News) - Drone maker Strat Aero PLC on Thursday said it has entered the Chinese and Asian unmanned aerial vehicle markets through two agreements.

The company has signed a franchise agreement with I-Coach, a Hong Kong-based company, covering the roll-out of Strat Aero's drone training programme in the Hong Kong, Chinese, Taiwan and Macau markets.

Strat Aero also has signed a memorandum of understanding with AviationLearn Pte Ltd in Singapore to offer training and advice to AviationLearn on drones.

No financial details were disclosed on the deals.

"Today's developments represent Strat Aero's initial thrust into the Asian market, and I am confident that these agreements will position us at the heart of what is a rapidly expanding market," said Chief Executive Tony Dunleavy.

Strat Aero shares were down 2.1% to 4.90 pence.
