LONDON (Alliance News) - Drone maker Strat Aero PLC on Tuesday said it has secured a proprietary software contract with ReadyJet Inc, a US-based aircraft interiors and exteriors company.
The deal, worth an estimated USD378,000, is for Strat Aero to provide ReadyJet with its digital data management software. Strat Aero said it had customised its software to suit the needs of ReadyJet, and ReadyJet will use the software to track employees' time, calculate the payroll and track required training.
Strat Aero said the contract will run for five years.
"This contract win with ReadyJet for our industry leading UAV and aviation data solution known as digital data management software, is highly encouraging and represents, we believe, another large opportunity for Strat Aero as the market for this product at this price range is big and largely untapped," said Chief Executive Tony Dunleavy.
Shares in Strat Aero were up 11% at 4.15 pence on Tuesday morning.
