LONDON (Alliance News) - Strat Aero PLC on Tuesday said its affiliate Emerging Technology Ventures Inc has agreed to become a member of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration's research collaborative for its Unmanned Aerial Systems Traffic Management programme.
Strat Aero is an aerospace company focused on the unmanned aerial vehicle sector, and ETV is a US group which specialises in technology services for both military and civilian unmanned system market sectors.
ETV will work with NASA to develop an air traffic control system for low altitude UAS operations in the US.
"This further deepens our ability and credibility to offer compelling full UAV solutions to large international businesses, as laid out in our strategic plan," Strat Aero Chief Executive Tony Dunleavy said in a statement.
Shares in Strat Aero were trading up 2.2% at 6.90 pence Tuesday morning.
