LONDON (Alliance News) - Arden Partners PLC on Monday said it formed a new wealth management unit and has recruited a former Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC executive to manage and develop the division.
The stock broker has formed Arden Wealth Management Ltd to provide financial planning services and advise on pensions. Henry Algeo, a former director of investment manager at Brewin Dolphin, has been appointed as head of the wealth management division.
"I am delighted that we have secured authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority to launch Arden Wealth," said Arden Partners Chief Executive Donald Brown.
"We see wealth management as an exciting growth opportunity for Arden and look forward to actively developing this new division," added Brown.
Arden Partners shares were untraded on Monday, last closing at 27.00 pence each.
