LONDON (Alliance News) - Support services and infrastructure group Stobart Group Ltd on Monday said it has secured a 14-year index-linked fuel supply deal with the Port Clarence biomass plant in Teesside.
Stobart said financial close has been reached on the deal to supply fuel to the 40 megawatt waste wood-fuelled biomass plant, with deliveries set to start in late 2017.
Stobart Energy's transport arm will handle the deliveries, which will involve more than 250 loads per week being sent to the plant over the course of the contract.
Shares in Stobart were up 0.5% to 107.25 pence on Monday morning.
