LONDON (Alliance News) - Sterling Energy PLC on Monday said it has appointed Eskil Jersing as its chief executive with immediate effect.
Jersing is the former head of new ventures and co-head of mergers and acquisitions at Petrobras Oil & Gas BV, the Rotterdam-based arm of Brazilian state oil company Petrobras SA.
Sterling said Alastair Beardsall, who had been interim chief executive, will continue as the company's executive chairman.
Shares in Sterling Energy were trading flat at 17.00 pence on Monday.
