LONDON (Alliance News) - Steppe Cement Ltd Tuesday said Non-Executive Chairman Malcolm Brown will retire on May 28 due to health reasons after holding the role for more than six years, but will remain a "loyal shareholder" of the company.
The company is seeking a replacement for Brown and Steppe will make an announcement in due course.
"The board, management and staff of Steppe Cement express their gratitude to Malcolm for his excellent contributions and service during a period of significant development and challenge and wish him the best of health," it said in a statement.
Steppe shares were down 0.9% to 23.30 pence per share on Tuesday morning.
