(Alliance News) - Stenprop Ltd on Wednesday said Non-Executive Director Warren Lawlor will not stand for re-election.
The company, which will hold its annual general meeting on September 16, said Lawlor's departure is part of its plan "to increase the proportion of independent directors on the board".
"We wish to thank Warren for his outstanding contribution to the board since he was appointed in April 2017. A structured process to identify and attract an independent non-executive director with the appropriate expertise and background to replace Warren will commence in the near future," the real estate investment trust said.
Stenprop shares closed 1.9% higher at 108.00 pence each in London on Wednesday. In Johannesburg, they closed up 5.3% at ZAR24.12.
