LONDON (Alliance News) - Wireless remote tracking and monitoring products company Starcom PLC on Wednesday said it had been awarded an extension of its contract with a major international client for its Helios Hybrid tracking system.
Starcom said the contract had been extended for three years, starting from 31 January, after having already provided the unnamed client with 100 units in line with a contract it secured in September.
"Yet again we have proved that on an international level, our Helios Hybrid, with its 'always connected' satellite tracking technology, is preferred over our competition's products," said Avi Hartmann, Starcom's chief executive.
"Our client runs a large fleet of vehicles and we hope that orders will follow within the three year period of the contract," he added.
Shares in Starcom were up 0.3% to 2.13 pence on Wednesday morning.
