LONDON (Alliance News) - Starcom PLC on Thursday said it has received a significant amount of a USD1.1 million order from its distributor in North Africa.
The agreement with the distributor covers Starcom's Helios Advanced vehicle tracking technology and its BIO CAN fuel sensors.
"This is the first time the company has deployed this technology in a major project," said Starcom.
"Delivery of the products by Starcom is due to commence after receipt of a further amount by the customer, and the company will provide a further update once this has been received."
Shares were down 0.7% on Thursday at a price of 1.51 pence each.
