(Alliance News) - Oilfield services firm Star Phoenix Group Ltd on Tuesday said two tax appeal trials in Trinidad will be heard in court in May.
Shares in the company were 27% higher at 1.44 pence each in London on Tuesday morning.
The two disputes were heard by an appeal board on Monday, ahead of the trials on May 26 and May 27, respectively.
Two other tax cases in Trinidad have been scheduled for hearing on May 26, Star Phoenix added,
The total amount of all liabilities as part of the disputes is USD4.9 million, the company explained.
