LONDON (Alliance News) - Standard Life Private Equity Trust PLC on Monday declared a third quarterly dividend following a rise in net asset value.
For the three months to the end of June net asset value per share rose to 417.3 pence from 390.4 pence reported at the end of March.
Net asset value total return for the period was 9.2% for nine months to the end of June. In comparison, the company said The MSCI Europe Index and the FTSE All Share Index, both in sterling terms, rose by 3.3% and 7.9%, respectively, during the quarter.
The company said it paid the first quarter dividend of 3.1 pence per share in April. The second quarterly dividend of 3.1p was paid in July.
Standard Life Private Equity Trust declared a third quarterly payout of 3.1p to be paid in October.
The value of the company's unquoted portfolio, which includes 56 private equity fund interests, was GBP541.9 million at the end of June, up from GBP518.6 million reported as at the end of March.
The company expects to publish its annual results on December 11.
Shares in Standard Life Private Equity Trust were trading 0.8% higher on Monday at 348.24 pence each.
