(Alliance News) - Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust Ltd said Wednesday it hired Sarah Slater as a non-executive director of the property firm with immediate effect.
Slater is currently the chief executive office of the privately-held London property firm, the Eyre Estate. Previously, she held senior positions at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and ING Real Estate Investment Management.
Standard Life Investments Property Income Chair Robert Peto said the firm was "delighted" to welcome Slater to the board.
"Sarah is an experienced principal investor and fund manager with a successful performance track record in real estate investment," Peto added. "She has board level strategic and operational experience built up over the last 27 years in a broad ranging career."
Shares in Standard Life Investments Property Income were 0.9% higher at 88.20 pence in London on Wednesday.
