LONDON (Alliance News) - Recruitment and training firm Staffline Group PLC said Monday it has secured prison education contracts in the UK worth GBP104.6 million over a four-year period.

The company's PeoplePlus division now operates in 22 prisons in the UK. The division provides training courses for apprenticeships and government funded adult skills programmes.
Chief Executive Officer Chris Pullen said: "Growing our presence in prison education is a key strategic priority for our PeoplePlus division, and I am delighted that we have managed to exceed the target that we set at the interims. This strong performance is underpinned by our innovative proposition and demonstrates our continued success in transitioning PeoplePlus into the UK's leading skills and training provider."
