LONDON (Alliance News) - Staffline Group PLC on Monday said it acquired recruitment firm Passionate About People for an undisclosed sum.
Passionate About People comprises of staffing solutions provider Omega Resource Group Ltd and outsourcing solutions firm Datum RPO Ltd.
For the year to the end of June 2017, Passionate About People reported revenue of GBP72 million and an operating profit of GBP2 million.
Staffline expects the acquisition to broaden its UK footprint, in particular in South West England, with branches in Swindon and Gloucester and minimal overlap with the company's existing presence.
"Passionate About People is a highly complementary fit to our existing recruitment activities and will broaden our sector coverage, expand our UK footprint and enable us to offer our clients new services through Datum and Omega," said Staffline Chief Executive Chris Pullen.
Staffline shares were trading 3.4% higher on Monday at 1,284.00 pence each.
