LONDON (Alliance News) - Safestore Holdings PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed Bill Oliver as a non-executive director, effective from November 1 when he retires from his current position as chief executive of fellow FTSE 250-listed St Modwen Properties PLC.
Self-storage provider Safestore said it has appointed Oliver as a non-executive director thanks to his "significant commercial and financial experience, particularly in property matters".
St Modwen had said in February that Oliver was retiring from the company at the end of November, the conclusion of its current financial year, after 13 years at the helm.
Elsewhere, Safestore said it was also appointing Claire Balmforth as a non-executive director, effective from August 1. Balmforth currently holds the position of human resource director for mental health service provider Prior Group.
