(Alliance News) - St James's Place PLC said Thursday it has appointed Helena Morrissey as a non-executive director with effect from January 1.
The FTSE 100 wealth manager said Morrissey recently stepped down from her role as head of Personal Investing at Legal & General Investment Management Group PLC. Prior to that she was chief executive of Newton Investment Management Ltd from 2001 to 2016, having joined the company in 1984.
Iain Cornish, chair, said:"I am delighted that Helena is joining the board of St James's Place. Her expertise in financial services, insight into investment management and experience of running a major asset management company will be of great value to the board."
St James's Place shares were up 0.5% in London at 1,031.00 pence each on Friday.
