(Alliance News) - St. James's Place PLC on Wednesday it has appointed two new non-executive directors to its board, one with immediate effect and the other on June 1.
Emma Griffin is being appointed to the board with immediate effect. She is currently non-executive director at Canadian insurance and wealth management firm Industrial Alliance Financial Group. Her former executive role was as founding partner of stockbroking firm Oriel Securities from 2002 to 2013.
Lesley-Ann Nash will be joining the FTSE 100 wealth management firm at the start of June. She will step down from her position as a director in the Cabinet Office, where she led several commercial and consumer programmes for six years.
"Both Emma and Lesley-Ann have substantial experience at a senior level across a number of sectors and I am delighted that they have both agreed to join the board. The new perspectives and insights they bring will undoubtedly add further value to the board and I look forward to working with them," said Chair Iain Cornish.
Shares in St. James Place - which is based in Cirncester - were up 0.5% at 1,186.50 pence on Wednesday in London.
