(Alliance News) - Maritime monitoring and surveillance providers SRT Marine on Friday named Simon Barrell, Grafenia PLC's interim finance head, as a new non-executive director.
SRT Marine said Barrell, who was appointed by printing company Grafenia in June to replace the retired Alan Roberts, specialises in acquisitions, disposals and mergers.
SRT Marine Chair Kevin Finn said: "We are very pleased to have Simon on board for the next phase of our growth. Simon has the experience of international expansion and financial infrastructure required to underpin our long term plans."
SRT Marine is scheduled to release results for the financial year ended March 31 on July 18 and expects a pretax profit of GBP3.0 million on revenue of GBP20.0 million. In financial 2018, SRT Marine reported a pretax loss of GBP5.7 million on revenue of GBP5.3 million.
Shares in SRT Marine rose 0.7% at 33.50 pence in London on Friday morning.
