LONDON (Alliance News) - Sprue Aegis PLC on Thursday said all of the smoke alarm and accessory manufacturing activities of its principal supplier in China, CICAM, have been successfully transferred to a nearby alternative facility slightly ahead of the original timetable.
The smoke and carbon monoxide detector maker said its products are now being produced at the new facility, which was formally opened Wednesday.
Additionally, Sprue said that its new range of mains-powered products targeted at the UK trade sector, SONA, will go into full production before the year end, in line with its previous guidance.
Shares in Sprue Aegis were up 1.0% at 330.88 pence Thursday morning.
