LONDON (Alliance News) - Gaming company Sportech PLC on Thursday said the hearing on its GBP97.0 million value added tax repayment claim related to its 'Spot the Ball' competition will take place on April 7 or 8.
The hearing had been delayed back in November due to a "lack of judicial availability".
On January 13 last year, Sportech was granted permission to appeal to the Court of Appeal in relation to the VAT repayment claim on its "Spot the Ball" game, part of an ongoing battle the company is having with UK tax authorities.
Sportech shares were up 4.4% to 60.00 pence on Thursday.
